Meet Courtney

Courtney Aldrich (she/her) is a clinical social worker and expressive art therapist based in Massachusetts. Her experience in the mental health field includes community-based, school, inpatient, and outpatient care.

After wearing every hat in the industry, she found that what people needed to heal from trauma could be accessed in group — supportive relationships, skills based learning, and opportunities for self-expression. She started Fannthera after developing her niche running mental health education and expressive art therapy groups for the people she met along the way.

At Fannthera, Courtney brings her curiosity, compassion, and humor into her expressive and dynamic group sessions. Outside of group, you can find her deep in a canvas, appreciating the colors. Her calm place is anywhere with a blue sky and an inviting patch of grass.
