House and Terrance
The Stevens Family, some of the early European settlers of North Andover, acquired Ashdale Farm in 1729 and farmed the land for generations. Ashdale farm named by their kids because of large number of ash trees that once grew there.
Helen Stevens inherited the property, and after her marriage to John Gardner Coolidge and the property became their summer home. Helen continued to spend her summers at the home after her husband died in 1936.
Imagine you were invited to this summer picnic with the Steven Coolidge family. They’re going around sharing stories and childhood memories of the many summers spent vacationing at the Stevens-Coolidge Estate.
Tell a story of a memory from beginning to end that shaped what summer means to you.
